Job Description:
Applied Scientist – Solve Problems With Machine Learning
The Applied Scientist brings advanced machine learning expertise into real-world use cases across the digital media landscape. In this role, you’ll develop AI-driven solutions that address client needs, improve media performance, and power smarter, data-informed decision-making.
You combine deep knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, and data science with a practical, hands-on approach. Your work focuses on building and refining predictive models, optimization algorithms, and intelligent tools that enhance targeting, content delivery, and campaign outcomes.
Each model you create is designed for impact. From audience segmentation and real-time bidding to recommendation engines and personalization systems, your outputs will directly support live client projects. You’ll be expected to rapidly test, iterate, and deploy experimental solutions into production environments.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams — including engineers, analysts, strategists, and product managers — to align AI capabilities with strategic goals. Together, you’ll translate complex research into scalable, high-performing features that drive business value.
Additionally, you’ll stay current with the latest research in machine learning and AI. As new techniques emerge, you’ll evaluate their relevance and integrate the most promising approaches into the consultancy’s toolset. Speed of adoption and adaptability are critical.
You’ll also play a key role in building the internal foundation for AI excellence. This includes documenting best practices, training peers, and contributing to shared knowledge bases that allow innovation to scale across projects.
To succeed, you must be fluent in Python, familiar with ML libraries like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch, and comfortable working with large datasets. A solid understanding of experimentation design, model evaluation, and statistical rigor is essential.
The Applied Scientist transforms research into results. Your solutions not only power better campaigns — they unlock new possibilities for clients and fuel innovation throughout the consultancy.
This position is a driving force for AI advancement. Your combination of technical depth and practical problem-solving ensures that cutting-edge methods translate into real-world value.
