Decision Scientist

Details

Job Description:

Decision Scientist – Turn Data Into Smart Decisions

The Decision Scientist plays a crucial role in helping clients and internal teams make smarter, faster, and more profitable decisions. You’ll apply a combination of analytics, decision science, and operations research to optimize processes, refine strategies, and improve performance across digital media and AI-driven initiatives.

In this role, your work will go beyond reporting or prediction — you’ll build prescriptive models that guide action. Using simulation, optimization, and scenario analysis, you’ll help answer “what should we do?” rather than just “what happened?”

You’ll design and implement decision models that support a variety of use cases, from marketing budget allocation and media channel optimization to supply chain logic or customer journey improvements. These models will be grounded in real business needs and validated against measurable outcomes.

Collaboration is essential. You’ll partner with business stakeholders, data scientists, and strategists to translate abstract challenges into quantifiable problems. You’ll then apply structured methodologies to develop solutions that maximize ROI, reduce inefficiencies, or improve campaign performance.

Your technical toolkit may include tools like Python, R, Excel Solver, or Gurobi, as well as SQL for data access and Tableau or Looker for presenting results. A strong foundation in linear programming, probabilistic modeling, and statistical inference is key.

You’ll also be responsible for communicating your work clearly. Whether presenting a trade-off analysis or explaining the logic behind a recommendation engine, you’ll turn complex concepts into simple narratives that stakeholders can act on.

In a fast-moving consultancy environment, agility matters. You’ll prototype ideas quickly, iterate based on feedback, and test hypotheses in real-world scenarios — ensuring your work delivers impact, not just theory.

The Decision Scientist is the bridge between data and action. Your insights will shape everything from marketing strategies to operational workflows, helping clients unlock new levels of performance.

This position is vital to delivering smarter decision-making frameworks. Through your expertise, our consultancy helps businesses move forward with confidence, clarity, and measurable success.
