SEO Technical Manager – Lead Site SEO Audits
The SEO Technical Manager is a key leadership position responsible for driving the technical SEO strategy to ensure that websites are fully optimized for crawling, indexing, and peak search engine performance. You will lead comprehensive technical audits to identify and resolve issues that could hinder search visibility, such as site architecture flaws, broken links, duplicate content, and crawl errors.
In this role, you will work closely with web developers, IT teams, and digital marketing specialists to implement advanced SEO solutions that improve site speed, mobile responsiveness, URL structures, and overall user experience. Your expertise will be essential in managing technical aspects like XML sitemaps, robots.txt files, canonical tags, hreflang implementation, and structured data markup.
As a manager, you will oversee the prioritization and execution of technical SEO initiatives, ensuring that enhancements align with broader business goals and digital strategies. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, providing guidance and fostering collaboration to integrate SEO best practices seamlessly throughout the development lifecycle.
Monitoring and analyzing site performance using tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and various analytics platforms will be part of your ongoing responsibilities. You will stay ahead of search engine algorithm updates and emerging technologies, adapting strategies to maintain and improve search rankings.
Your strong leadership skills will enable you to mentor and develop a team of SEO specialists and analysts, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. You will also serve as a key liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex SEO challenges into clear, actionable recommendations.
