Ad Operation Manager – Optimize Digital Ad Campaigns
The Ad Operation Manager plays a vital role in the success of digital advertising campaigns. You’ll ensure campaigns are set up, launched, and optimized with precision across various channels—programmatic, search, video, mobile, and social.
You act as the key link between strategy, execution, and analytics. This role sits at the crossroads of marketing tech, creative operations, and media performance. You’ll work with media buyers, strategists, developers, and data teams to ensure campaigns run smoothly.
You’ll manage trafficking workflows end to end. This includes gathering requirements, uploading creative assets, and setting up campaigns in ad servers like Google Campaign Manager, DV360, Meta Ads Manager, or The Trade Desk.
You’ll also handle UTM tagging, pixel implementation, and third-party tracking. Ensuring data flows correctly is a core responsibility. You’ll troubleshoot errors, misfires, and reporting discrepancies. Speed and accuracy are essential.
You will work closely with vendors and publishers to resolve technical issues. Your role includes tracking errors, ad latency, misplacements, and discrepancies in attribution. Your technical know-how will be tested daily.
You must be fluent with tools like Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and tracking SDKs or APIs. Experience with dynamic creative optimization, A/B testing tools, and automation platforms is a plus.
As our consultancy integrates AI tools, your role will support automation and machine learning systems. You’ll help streamline operations and enhance accuracy using advanced technologies.
You should be organized, detail-focused, and proactive. You’ll often manage multiple campaigns at once while communicating clearly with internal teams.

Responsibilities:

Set up, monitor, and optimize advertising campaigns across digital platforms.

Manage ad trafficking, asset versioning, and tag implementation.

Ensure proper configuration of tracking pixels and measurement systems.

Work cross-functionally with media teams and clients on campaign requirements.

Perform QA on creatives, tracking setups, and live campaigns.

Troubleshoot technical issues affecting delivery or performance.

Maintain campaign documentation and process checklists.

Collaborate on automation projects for ad ops and reporting.

Monitor pacing, delivery, and discrepancies daily.

Stay updated on platform changes, policies, and data compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in ad operations or digital media trafficking.

Proficiency with tools such as Google Campaign Manager, DV360, Meta Ads Manager.

Strong understanding of tag management systems like GTM and event tracking tools.

Experience troubleshooting delivery, attribution, or reporting issues.

Familiarity with performance marketing metrics (CPA, CTR, ROAS, etc.).

Solid communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams.

Experience working with programmatic platforms and media optimization tools.

Understanding of AI-based automation or campaign intelligence tools is a plus.
